Terms and Conditions

 

By accessing and using our services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement.

Any participation in our services will constitute acceptance of this agreement. 

The Whistle Press reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.


ARTWORK PROOFS

It is your responsibility as the customer to check your design proof through thoroughly. Once you have approved your proof, you are bound to agreeing that we can commence with printing. You are responsible for any errors after you have approved your proof and if replacements are needed, they will be charged for at full price. 

                                                                                            

COLOUR ACCURACY

Please be aware that colour representations on screen, both on our website and on any artwork proofs are not 100% accurate and may differ from the finished product. We have endeavoured to replicate the colour as closely as possible online and in any emailed proof however, this is a digital representation and therefore will differ from the letterpress printed product. Please also note that printing any of our artwork digitally will not be an accurate representation and any digital artwork we may provide may differ to your chosen letterpress printed artwork.

All of our inks are mixed by hand and checked by eye, therefore there may be some slight variation of colour and depth between prints and may well differ from any samples you may have received. This is part of the handmade nature of letterpress and is not deemed a fault.    

 

PAYMENT POLICY

Full payment is required before the commencement of printing. All goods remain the property of The Whistle Press until paid for in full. A 50% deposit is required before we commence work on creating a proof or before any design work starts.

Payment can be made through a BACS transfer, of which details will be included in our correspondence. We also except cheques however, please note that payment will need to clear before we can start working on your order. 

 

RETURNS & REFUNDS

We do not accept returns. All of our products are personalised and made to order.

Any cancelation after the printing stage will still be charged at the full rate. 

Any cancelations after approval of proof but before we have commenced printing are charged at 50% of full rate. We do not advise our customer when printing has commenced and this can be at any stage after approval of the proof. 

Any cancelation made once we have commenced work on a proof and/or design work, will be charged at 50%.
 

SHIPPING & DAMAGES

We dispatch our orders with an overnight courier delivery service to the UK mainland (Highlands, Northern Ireland, and UK offshore require two working days). Worldwide deliveries are also offered, but take longer depending on destination. The client is responsible for all import duties and taxes on international deliveries.  

 

We cannot be deemed responsible for any delay, damage or loss due to unforeseen circumstances such as but not limited to – weather, natural disasters, and political disturbances.

We use a third party company to deliver our orders. As soon as your order is dispatched, the third party courier takes possession over the order/products and we are no longer responsible for it. We are not responsible for any delay, damage or loss to your order. However, we do insure each order and we will endeavour to resolve any issues directly with you.

Any damaged goods must be reported to us in writing within 48 hours of receiving your order. We will endeavour to reprint and deliver replacements if required as soon as possible. These will take priority of our workflow in order for us to settle the issue swiftly. They will then be dispatched using our usual courier method(s). We cannot expedite any delivery.
 

AVAILABILITY

As we often rely on third party suppliers to source our materials, we cannot guarantee availability of any of our products. If we have any delay or problem sourcing stock, we will endeavour to inform you if we believe it may affect your order. In the event of a material not being available, we have the right to substitute it for an alternative. If we feel this may affect your order, we will endeavour to contact you before we go ahead.
 

ORDER TIMESCALES

Our ordering timings are listed under our FAQ's. They are approximations only and these timings may change due to our workflow and how busy the studio may be. However, we always endeavour to have all our orders produced and dispatched as soon as possible as within the timescales given. We will always advise on an expected timescale for your order before you place an order. 

International deliveries may exceed our usual timescale. We will advise on each individual order.                                                                                                               

PRIVACY

We will never pass on, share or sell your information to any other parties. We do not store any payment details in any form.
