HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

Our usual turn around time for off the shelf designs is approximately 2 weeks. We will always give you an estimate before you order.

If you are on a tight time scale, please get in contact and we can see what the best we can do for you is. There is usually an express turn around fee of around £30 (this depends of the individual circumstances and how busy we are in the studio).

For orders requiring significant custom design and all bespoke wedding invitations, be sure to allow several weeks for the design process to be finalized and your stationery to be printed.

HOW MUCH DO YOUR INVITATIONS COST?

For bespoke wedding invitations, the costs vary depending on the individual design and order but are typically around 40% more than our standard prices.

CAN MY INVITATIONS BE PERSONALLY ADDRESSED TO MY INDIVIDUAL RECIPIENTS?

Letterpress printing is undoubtedly a beautiful printing method (the most beautiful in our opinion) but, because of the process, it does come with some limitations. We are unable to address your individual invitations. However, for small quantities (20 and under) and at an extra cost, it is often possible. If you are interested in this service, please contact us to discuss your options. Another available option is to add a blank line in the design for handwriting your guest’s names on.

CAN I CHANGE THE WORDING?

You can change any of the wording on all of our designs. Would you like some help with your wording options? Please feel free to contact us.

WHAT COLOUR CHOICES ARE THERE?

We have a wide selection of ink colours to choose from along with coordinated envelope liner designs. We also have a huge range of over 80 different coloured envelopes, belly bands, ribbons & twine, wax seals in a variety of colours - all to help your wedding invitations really stand out. Please note colours will not always look the same on screen as they do printed.

WHAT COLOURS OF INK ARE AVAILABLE?

We use a luxurious 100% cotton paper as standard. It is wonderfully thick and substantial without being too ‘board’ like. Please click here for more info on our house paper.                                                                                                                             

We can also print on the brilliant, iconic Colorplan board. We would recommend the 540gsm weight paper. It’s available in an array of colours shown here http://colorplanpapers.com/50colours

CAN YOU PRINT ON BOTH SIDES OF THE INVITATIONS?

We can, however it is often not advised due to the printing method. Because we choose to print with a fairly deep impression, there is usually not enough thickness to the paper to create this effect on both sides. We would advise you consider only a light impression if you do want a design on both sides.

DO YOU OFFER A BESPOKE WEDDING INVITATION DESIGN SERVICE?

HOW CAN I CUSTOMISE MY INVITATIONS?

All of our beautiful designs are fully customizable. Many of the elements be changed and altered such as the wording, font, colours and extras added.                      

We will gather all the information that we need from you then input them into your chosen design. We then email you through a proof of your customized design for your approval.                                                                                              

We offer a huge range of extra details like useable vintage stamps, twine, wax seals, envelope printing, the list goes on! All these little details help to create truly unique wedding stationery. Please click here for info on options available.

THICKNESS FOR POSTAGE?

Currently in the UK the maximum thickness for a standard letter is 5mm and a weight of 100g. Our wedding invitations are usually safely within this range so there will be no problem posting them first or second class.                              

We will always advise if we feel it may be a problem with your chosen stationery e.g. you have lots of extra pages but, there is usually ways around this.

CAN YOU SHIP MY ENVELOPES EARLY SO THAT I CAN START ADDRESSING THEM?

Yes, of course. This is a very good idea, especially if you are in a bit of a rush. It is also a good idea if you are sending your envelopes on to a calligrapher to be addressed. As we do not charge a penny for postage, we do regretfully have to charge a small postage fee of £3.50 to split the order and have the envelopes sent ahead.

HOW IS MY ORDER SENT?

We send every order by a recorded, fully tracked courier service. Usually Royal Mail but occasionally we may use other courier services. We will contact you before dispatching your order to advise of the expected delivery date. A signature is always required upon delivery.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We're happy to accommodate international orders, please just get in touch and we can work out the shipping costs for you. International orders are subject to any customs & fees applicable to your country. 
 

CAN I ORDER A SAMPLE?

Yes, of course! Please do, we will be more than happy to send you out a sample. Please simply contact us. We charge £3.50 including delivery. If there is a particular design/colour/style you would like to see, please let us know at the time of ordering your sample. 
 

CAN I SEE A PROOF BEFORE I ORDER?

Yes, we will always send you a proof of your design by email before going ahead. Because of the nature of the letterpress process, we are regretfully unable to produce hard copy proofs. You can of course order a sample(s) from us beforehand. Please note that the colours onscreen may not perfectly represent the printed ink colour.
